JUNE MEDAL

Division 1

A countback was needed to decide the winner with Mark Hynes edging out Phil Hodges after both players returned scores of nett 69. Tied in 3rd on nett 70 were on form Spencer Clifford and Paul Bloomfield. Paul and Mark both returned gross 73 to share the best gross prize.

Division 2

Another countback was needed to decide Division 2 with Paul Jardine just beating Martin Lye after both players returned nett 69. There was a 3 way tie on nett 70 featuring Gerry Westbrook, Charlie Cownie and David Dent.

Division 3

Round of the day was produced by Mel Moore whose nett 67 gave a 3 shot winning margin over 2nd placed Dave Boulton. Also worth a special mention was Steve Self in 3rd place on nett 71. Steve's round represented the 1st time he has broken 100 in competition with the hard work and practice now beginning to pay-off. Well done Steve.
