NORMAN SMITH TROPHY

This year's Norman Smith Trophy 4 ball betterball competition was won by Matt Bollen and his partner Steve Marriott on countback from Charles Crawford and John Harris after both pairs returned respectable scores of 41 points. There was a 4-way tie in 3rd place on 40 points between the pairings of Jeff Britton and Sam Skuse, Ewan Tavendale and Scott Gilmour, Paul Carey and Paul Bloomfield and Mike Bullock and Tom Stewart.

This weekends' competition is The Coronation Cup, a singles stroke play event and will take place on Saturday. Whilst the majority of tee times are now taken, there are still a few slots available throughout the day. If you are interested in taking part please book via the website or call the Pro Shop and we can arrange a game on your behalf.

This Saturday also sees the second of the weekly FREE taster coaching sessions I am running each week throughout May as part of the national "Get into Golf" initiative. If you know anyone who would like to try please bring them along to our driving range between 10.00-11.00 or 11.30-12.30 on any Saturday this month.
