We are always striving to improve the way golfers hit the ball. With the latest technology and fitting carts available we are able to undertake the most comprehensive fitting session possible. This week a member wanted a new set of Mizuno irons and heard about our DNA fitting cart. To start with the member hit his current Cleveland 6 iron.

Specs:

Cleveland CG irons 
Standard Length 
Standard Lie 
Dynamic Gold Regular Shafts 
Ball Speed - 111 mph 
Carry Distance - 153 yards

We went through the fitting process trying various heads and shafts. In the end he was fitted for:

Mizuno JPX EZ 
Standard Length 
2 degrees Upright 
Dynamic Gold XP 115 Stiff Flex 
Ball Speed - 113 mph 
Carry Distance - 171 yards

This was a carry distance gain of 18 yards. Not only did we increase his distance but his dispersion improved averaging 4 yards right of target.
