Short Game Area update...

Unfortunately the opening of the short game is having to be delayed, but when we do open we are sure you will experience a new first-class area.

The short game area will provide you with a great area to work on your game and importantly help lower your scores as you get up and down more often.

Another event that has had to be postponed is the Titleist wedge event as they have cancelled all fitting days in light of the current situation.

Get booked in early...

Ok, so it might be a little ways off, but Callaway will be here on-site for a fitting day, giving you the opportunity to try their latest Mavrik range under the eye of Callaway's professional fitter.

The date you need to put in your diary is Wednesday 22nd April between 12pm to 5pm but, with Callaway's Mavrik already proving popular with many of you, booking early is advised to secure your fitting appointment.

Sociable sessions

Playing golf with your friends is one of the best things about this sport but, if you’re tired of playing long strokeplay rounds in your fourball, why not try some of the fun formats below the next time you find yourself going out in a four?

This game is a lot of fun and sees both team members play their own ball, with the lowest score counting at each hole. In a fourball betterball match, players receive 90% of the difference from the player with the lowest handicap.

Greensomes

Both partners tee off on each hole. You then choose the best drive and play alternate shots for the rest of the hole. Your greensomes handicap should be 60% of the lower partner’s handicap added to 40% of the higher partner’s.

Gruesomes

This is a great way to find out who your true friends are as the format is the same as Greensomes only your opposition decide which drive you play from. Although don't blame us if you all end up falling out over it.
