AUTUMN CUP RD. 2

An outstanding round of 71 [nett 62] gave Marcus Lewis a 5 shot winning margin in the 2nd round of this year's Autumn Cup. Tim Unwins' excellent 73 [nett 67] secured 2nd place with a 3 way tie on nett 68 between Scott Gilmour, Jamie Goult and Terry Bray. Marcus' terrific round could well be the first of many!

AUTUMN CUP - OVERALL

Jamie Goult proved once again what a quality player he is as his nett 2 round total of 137 [69+68] gave him victory coutesy of a better 2nd round from Rick Smart [68+69]. Both players should be congratulated for their standard of play. In 3rd place one shot further back was Terry Bray [70+68] with Tim Unwin in 4th of 140 [73+67].

AUGUST MEDAL

Division 1

A nett 67 [gross 78] gave Sam Hayward 1st place in Division 1 of this years [rescheduled] August Medal and a 1 shot winning margin from Neville Smith with Tim Harding in 3rd place on nett 69.

Division 2

Another medal and another divisional win for fast improving Pete Macey whose nett 67 gave him a 3 shot winning margin from Andy Dodd with Steve Humphries in 3rd place on nett 72.

Division 3

Armed with a new set of custom fitted PING irons John Lewis took 1st place in Division 3 with a nett 69 for a one shot victory over Brian Nelson with Mel Moore in 3rd place on nett 71.
