Division 1 - With a nett score of 69 Kevin Watts took 1st place in Division 1 giving him a 2 shot winning margin over Ken Owens and Ian Maxted who tied in 2nd on nett 71. Kevins' gross score of 74 also gave him a share of the best gross prize alongside Paul McMullen and Jamie Goult.
Division 2 - Martin Lye returned a nett 71 to claim 1st place with Tim Page [72] and Derek Everden [73] taking 2nd and 3rd position. Martins' round shows just how fickle a game golf is after his previous game had ended in a heavy defeat in one of the knockout competitions.
Division 3 - Round of the day went to Paul Smith whose nett 68 gave him a 2 stroke winning margin over Mel Moore with Dave McManners taking 3rd position. Paul recent investment in a new set of PING "G" custom fitted woods and irons has already given him a return on his investment and a handicap reduction !!
