111 competitors entered last Saturdays' playing of The Spring Cup. A closely fought contest saw John Lindop take 1st place with a winning score of +4. In a 4-way tie for 2nd place on +3 were Martin Coles, Paul Carey, Peter Macey and Steve Abbott with Richard Webber all alone in 6th place on +2. Of the 4 players in 2nd spot Martin, Paul and Peter are currently part way through a series lessons and should take real encouragement from this result. Keep up the good work!

The new 3 hole Academy course is now open and already getting plenty of use with over 20 children using it during last Sundays coaching sessions. This facility will greatly increase the opportunity for golfers of ALL ages to develop their games.

Please also remember that the Wiltshire Academy Coaching sessions will be taking place this weekend which will mean the driving range will be VERY busy. Your patience will be appreciated.
